Water Taste and Odor: The Town of Hotchkiss posted the following information on Facebook: "We have received multiple reports of the Town drinking water tasting different. Public Works has been informed and have relayed that it is due to the recent higher temperatures and low volume of precipitation. They are currently working to combat it. It may take some time for the water to get back to normal but it is safe to drink at this time. If there are any further questions, you can call the Clerk's Office at 970-872-3663 or email clerk@townofhotchkiss.com. Thank you for your understanding and patience."
Water Conservation: The Town of Hotchkiss has implemented outdoor watering restrictions "due to the drought and water shortage." See https://townofhotchkiss.colorado.gov. While most of our members have irrigation water for outdoor watering, we still encourage members to conserve our domestic water in all ways possible. Thank you.
